I am super delayed in sharing this, but a Christmas gift that we got for Greyson was a Kiwi Co. subscription. If you haven’t heard of Kiwi Co. yet they are an awesome company that creates STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) activities for kids of all ages, even babies! You can choose from the different crates here. Use my affiliate code to get your first crate for as low as $20! Go give it a try! This would be awesome for your own child, but also great to give as a gift for a first birthday or baby shower!
I love Kiwi Co. because all of their toys are designed by experts and they spend over 1,000 hours testing each crate. The crates are very well made and you can tell that you are getting a quality product. I only wish I used Kiwi Co. sooner! I ordered Greyson the Kiwi Co. panda crate, which is a box geared for kids 0-2 years, but they personalize it based on your babies specific age. The Kiwi Co. panda crate that we got is for babies age 11-18 months. This particular box was amazing because it had different toys to promote social emotional learning. The toys are so great because they teach toddlers how to recognize emotions within themselves and others. Here’s what we got!

Each crate comes with info cards for how to use the toys and what purpose they serve. They also give you some extra ideas that you can try out with your kids!

There’s a super cute panda silicone placemat that you can use to create different faces with food. The mat is easy to wash and you could even use play doh to make different faces!

The emotion spinner is really cute. Greyson spins the blocks to make different eyes match different mouth expressions. Great for little hands!

There’s a double sided slider that came in the Kiwi Co. subscription crate as well. The child can slide the bottom piece up and down and one side will change a facial expression and the other side has a body with moving arms. This one is fun!

This sweet huggable hippo has three different faces that you can flip over to show the hippo having certain facial expressions. I think it’s perfect for little hands and you can use it to model to your little one if they’re happy, sad, or confused.

This toy is called the Emotion Stacker and it almost reminds me of a game of Connect 4. There are double sided coins (which Lola loves to chew on unfortunately) that have an emotion name on one side and a picture of the emotion on the other. This is good for fine motor coordination, but also helps to put a label to an emotion (with help from mom or dad of course!)

Overall, I am really happy with Kiwi Co. because the toys that they have aren’t just toys. They are scientifically backed and are tested to make sure that they are great for our babies. I woke up to an email this morning that said our next Kiwi Co. crate has shipped, so I’ll be sure to share that one with you when we get it! Definitely sooner this time 😉 Use my affiliate code to get your first crate for just $20!
