Warmer weather makes me all sorts of happy. It means that summer is near which is my favorite time of year. Over the next few weeks, I am going to be sharing all the outfit details for some of my favorite transitional spring outfits. We are still having cooler days here in CT, so I’m finding it still important to layer!

Jacket: This olive green utility jacket is one of my closet staples. I love wearing it in the fall, but also the spring. It runs true to size and it is usually on sale. I like to cinch it with the adjustable straps inside to give it a more fitted look. I also usually cuff the sleeves.

Jeans: I never shopped at Abercrombie in high school, but I love them oh so much now! They make THE best jeans I have ever worn. They run true to size and are so comfy. I buy the “long” size in each of my jeans because I have long legs. (I’m 5’7″)
Mules: Another one of my closet staples, my Sole Society cheetah mules are to die for. They are SO comfy and work for both spring and fall. I sized up 0.5 because they run a little on the smaller size.

Boyfriend shirt: You can usually find me wearing one of these oversized boyfriend shirts. They are meant to run big (I sized down in this one – I’m usually between a small/medium), but I LOVE the oversized look. I usually front tuck or side knot it.
Headband: I can’t take any credit for these whatsoever. My friend Alexis worn a grey one that I fell in love with and obviously instantly bought it. I love the knot detail on them. They are super comfy, don’t give me any headaches, and 9 different colors come in a pack! Very affordable ($12) and you can mix and match.
Sunglasses: Another one of my closet staples. These are the black Ray-bans. I actually found these on sale for just $60 from Nordstrom Rack! Keep your eyes peeled! When they come in stock, they usually go fast.

Wallet: Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers. Her stuff is timeless and I LOVE it. I actually got this wallet from a Vermont outlet about 8 years ago! Luckily, this wallet is still around and comes in lots of different colors.
Watch: I wear my Apple watch every day. I changed the band to a leather one that I found on Amazon. SUPER cheap ($13) and has held up to my every day wear and tear!

Stay tuned for my next spring look!
