I hope everyone had a great week! This week was very busy a little hectic for me, so I was little MIA this week, but I would never miss my Friday Faves! Jeff and I are working on a few DIY projects around the house I shared a little over on stories this week, too. We’re working our butler’s pantry shelving and cabinetry choices and I am going to make these farmhouse style wooden books for the foyer table Jeff made a few months ago. I’ll do a blog post on both of those as we go through the process, so stay tuned! Here are my Friday faves this week! Keep in mind: my Friday faves are things I have been using for YEARS. I would never share anything with you I truly wouldn’t love myself!
Moroccan Oil: I have been using Moroccan Oil on and off for the past few years. I originally started using it when the argan oil craze started and I haven’t really found anything better than it since. I have used both the Moroccan Oil Light and Moroccan Oil Regular versions and I think I like the regular version better. I have fine hair, so I read that the light version is better to use if you do, but I have found that I get a better result when I use the regular version. Basically, Argan oil is fully of fatty acids that help to strengthen and hydrate your hair. It is also packed with vitamin E that helps to reduce frizz and make your hair smooth and shiny. I use a dime sized amount on towel dried hair 2x a week and brush it out as normal. I don’t usually blow dry my hair unless it is winter time, but the argan oil helps to cut down on the drying time and just smooth my hair all over. I don’t use it at the roots because I think it could cause freshly washed hair to look greasy. I only say that because my hair is so fine and tends to gunk up pretty quickly.
Working Hands: For as long as I can remember, I’ve had dry, cracked hands. They get especially bad in the winter with the cold air. I used to be on prescription cream as a kid because they were so bad! A number of years ago, I tried Working Hands. I don’t remember where I originally found it, but I do remember that the only place I used to be able to find it at was Bed Bath and Beyond. Now it’s sold on Amazon, so that saves a trip! I apply Working Hands every night, winter or summer, and I wake up in the morning with my hands feeling baby soft and hydrated. This stuff is AMAZING. I don’t know how they do it, but you need to try this stuff out especially with all the hand washing people are doing nowadays! The key is to use it only at night, so that it can do it’s full job!
No-Show Socks: I always tend to buy shoes that require no-show socks. The no-show socks I have used before this have been AWFUL. They always fall down, they bunch up, or they make my feet sweaty. These no-show socks are literally the best socks I have ever used! They have a silicone pad in the heel which helps to keep them on, BUT the hole for the foot also cut in a way that makes it stay on the foot. I’ll share what I’m talking about more in stories!
Soma Bra: The Soma Enbliss wireless bra is UNREAL. I have worn Victoria’s Secret wired bras for years and was in the market for a new one when the wires in mine kept snapping. I had heard good things about these from other people, so I decided to give them a shot! They are perfect!! You can’t see them under your clothes because they are virtually seamless and they are so comfy! I throw them in a laundry bag every few days to wash them, but I don’t throw them in the dryer. They come out perfect each time! They are currently on sale! Use code 29324 at checkout!
