HAPPY FRIDAY! This week has felt like one of the longest weeks thus far, even with all of the days blending together at this point! I can’t believe my second Mother’s Day is already coming up this weekend. The past year has flown by and I hope that even though many of us can’t be with our own moms this year, we can still find a way to celebrate in one way or another.
Bar Keepers Friend: My grandma was the original person who introduced me to this magic kitchen cleaner. My grandma passed in 2004, so that just goes to show how long we have been using this stuff. Bar Keepers Friend is one of the best ways that I have found to clean our stainless steel kitchen sink. First of all, it is one of the cheapest cleaners I have ever seen hands down. I’m going to link it through Amazon, but honestly, just go buy it at your local grocery store. It usually costs under $3 depending on the size I buy. I like to wet the sink with water and then sprinkle this stuff all over. I then use a silicone sponge to gently clean the stainless steel and rinse clean. It gets the sink so shiny and sparkly! I’m going to demo it on stories, so stay tuned!

Deebot Robot Vacuum: If you have been following my Instagram stories for a while now, you’ve seen our Deebot make many appearances. Usually, Greyson is chasing it or throwing it… 🙄 When we moved into this house we learned very quickly that the stain we chose for the hardwood floors showed every ounce of dog hair. Getting the Deebot Robot Vacuum was one of the best new home purchases we made. We went with this brand over the Roomba because it was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. I can’t compare it to the other brand, but it does a wonderful job getting dog hair and sand that we just don’t have time to vacuum or sweep up every day. They make a floor mop version that I’m trying to convince my husband we need, too! If this thing can stand up to my toddler throwing it and sitting on it, I’d say it was money well spent.
Tula Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser: I have tried numerous fave cleansers over the years and never thought I would find myself paying $20+ for a face cleanser but here we are. This stuff is legit. My face feels super clean after I use it and really helps to keep any blemishes at bay. I use it in conjunction with a Clarisonic brush and it gets all my makeup and dirt off my face. I’ve even caught my husband using it!

Dermaroller: I did a whole blog post on the dermaroller back in the winter. I use the dermaroller at least 4 or 5 times a week now and I still think it makes such a huge difference in my beauty routine. Make sure you check out that other blog post because I went in a lot more detail about it, but basically, you roll the dermaroller on your face and then apply your serums and lotions after. It helps to make everything sink in a bit deeper and be more effective. I still have virtually no tiny bumps on my forehead any more which I have had almost my whole life. I use a retinol serum with it, but you could also just the dermaroller and apply face moisturizer as normal! I love using the Tula 24/7 hydrating moisturizer.

Triple Paste: This diaper rash cream is AMAZING. For the first year of Greyson’s life, we used Honest Co. diaper rash cream. I still like that cream, but one day Greyson got diaper rash so bad that even prescription medicine wouldn’t clear it up on its own. The doctor kept saying to use Triple Paste in conjunction with the prescription and while the Honest Co. had zinc oxide in it which we needed, there is something magical in the Triple Paste which virtually cleared his diaper rash overnight. I will warn you, it is pricey, but it is wroth every penny. I tell all of my new mom friends to stock up on this stuff! It comes in our Amazon Subscribe & Save and I could not be happier!
