I’m trying to be somewhat more prepared this year with getting my posts out BEFORE the actual holiday, so here we go! Easter 2020 was a complete blur. We didn’t spend it with friends or family for obvious reasons. I’m hoping that Easter 2021 will be at least a little different. This year, I’m trying to keep it simple and purchase things for Greyson that I probably would have gotten for him anyway, but now I have an excuse to give it to him! Or at least the Easter Bunny does. Here are some things the Easter Bunny will be leaving in Greyson’s Easter basket – toddler edition!
Basket: I purchased this basket and liner a few years ago from PotteryBarn Kids. I got the large size because I knew that as Greyson got older, the gifts would be physically bigger. There are a lot of different styles you can make from basket color to liner pattern. They have gingham, seersucker, and appliqué liners to choose from. I went with a simple white basket and white liner and I added the monogram in Ballantines Script.
Grass: Trying to be a little bit more eco-friendly, I got this paper shred Easter basket filler. I like the contrast of the brown paper with the white basket and liner.
Play-Doh Construction Toys: I know Greyson is going to lose his mind when he sees this front loader and dump truck/roller PlayDoh set. He is always using his trucks to play in slime and play-doh, so I’m thinking he’ll like the different accessories that come in this kit! He can roll the play-doh and put it through a little grinder – great for small hands!
Dino Bath Bomb Eggs: I’m super excited about these bath bombs because Greyson LOVES adding bath bombs to his nightly tubes! We’re always adding colors to the tub with these bath drops that the Easter Bunny is also replenishing for my bath lover. It’s taking every ounce of me to not give in and give them to him ahead of time, just so I can see what they do! Will keep you updated via Instagram!
Backpack: Unfortunately, I ordered this backpack back in January and it keeps getting delayed! I don’t think that we’ll get it in time for Easter anymore, but I’ll be sure to share it when we do. I wanted to get Greyson a backpack for when he travels to grandma and grandpa’s house, so he can bring all of his toys and snacks, etc. And to be honest, he just looks so stinking cute wearing a little backpack! I ordered him a small because the large looked a little too big for him in their sizing chart. I know he’s going to be pumped when he sees the construction trucks! It also glows in the dark!
Miscellaneous Easter Fillers: It also wouldn’t be Easter without some candy (the Reese’s eggs have always been one of my favorite and I’m hoping to pass down the tradition) and some little Easter crafts.
